1. Singles Match for the WCW World Television Championship
Diamond Dallas Page (C) vs. Johnny B. Badd
Before this match even started DDP caught Johnny B. Badd from behind with the pipe Johnny B. Badd carries, he hits him with it a couple of times before pinning Johnny B. Badd and counts the fall himself 1...2...3 before letting go of confetti in the pipe. They were really selling this as a despicable act which was interesting.
Winner-Johnny B. Badd by Disqualification, Rating-DUD
2. Singles Match
Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero
On paper this match is going to be awesome and it was, this match only had about eight minutes but they told a really good story with Guerrero's forearm and how he could barely get a move in but he kept staying in it despite the onslaught from Chris Benoit. Some superb wrestling moves here, the high flying action early in the match was great. I really want to watch this match again right now but I will have to wait for this Nitro review to end.
Winner-Chris Benoit, Rating-****
The commentary team are shown and they are talking about cruiserweights and how they are going to make a cruiserweight division. Then they talk about Hulk Hogan and The Taskmaster and how they are going to interview the Taskmaster in the ring.
3. Gene Okerlund Interviews The Taskmaster and The Giant about Hulk Hogan
Kevin Sullivan says that he is evil and the fact that what they did (shaving Hulk Hogan's mustache) made him do something that made the world stand still and watch on in awe (make Hogan wear black for the first time in over a decade). Kevin Sullivan introduces The Giant who says in his cheesy accent that he will destroy Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havok to Win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
The commentary team spend about two minutes advertising Halloween Havok 1995's WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match in a Monster Truck Match then a Singles Match. Then they advertise this Saturday's episode of WCW Saturday Night where Disco Inferno will face my guy Alex Wright, Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan will be there.
4. Singles Match
Ming vs. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
About a two minute long match that ended with Ming making Jim Duggan pass out to a rear chinlock.
Hulk Hogan is shown backstage where he says that last Monday he made the earth stand still by showing his inner evil, he says that he has plans that he is going to make what he did to The Giant's dad Andre the Giant at WrestleMania 3 look like nothing compares to what he does to the Giant at Halloween Havoc. Jimmy Hart shows some concern but Hogan sticks with his belief and goes on about defeating the Big Stinky Giant. This was probably Hulk Hogan's Best Promo (that I have ever seen).
5. Tag Team Match
Ric Flair and Sting vs. Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman
Ric Flair and Sting is a duo that I never thought I would see but here it is in the Main Event of the seventh episode of WCW Monday NITRO. Ric Flair was basically in a two on one handicap match with Anderson and Pillman for the first half of this match. Then Sting ran down and together with Flair would pick up the victory via count-out after Anderson and Pillman scurried away. After the match these two were interviewed in the ring by Gene Okerlund were Sting says that he was watching from is dressing room and he was impressed with Flair, he had gained respect for Flair while watching him fend off his ex brother Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman.
Winners-Ric Flair and Sting by Count-Out, Rating-**1/4
The commentary team once again end the show by talking about how they are in shock that Ric Flair and Sting are a Tag Team. Bobby Heenan does the heel thing and rants on Flair and Sting which was solid as well as Bischoff advertising next weeks Nitro that will see: Lex Luger and Sting vs. Harlem Heat, Eddie Guerrero and Alex Wright vs. Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit as well as Hulk Hogan.
Overall-3/5; This show had only one thing that was worth watching, the Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero match. This was a really good wrestling match which kept you enthralled in the program. Other then that Sting and Ric Flair's Tag Team is interesting and intriguing which makes me want to see more as they continue to feud with Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman. Hulk Hogan's promo was one of his best ever as it wasn't "Say your prayers and take your vitamins Hulkamaniacs", the Ming vs. Jim Duggan match was boring but it was really quick so it didn't matter that much. Overall Benoit vs. Guerrero and Hogan's promo is what you should see on the 7th Episode of WCW Monday NITRO.
Match of the Night-Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero (4/5)
